Excessive temperature rise of the injection molding machine will lead to a decrease in the viscosity of the oil, an increase in leakage, and a significant decrease in the volumetric efficiency of the pump and the efficiency of the entire system. As the viscosity of the oil decreases, the oil film of the moving parts such as the spool valve is thinned and cut, and the frictional resistance increases, resulting in increased wear. This will shorten the service life of the machine.
 
If the temperature of the injection molding machine is too high, the working quality of the components will be deteriorated: if the temperature of the injection molding machine is too high, the working quality of the components will be deteriorated. It also reduces work efficiency.
 
If the temperature rise of the injection molding machine is too high, it will accelerate the oxidation and deterioration of the oil, precipitate asphalt substances, and reduce the service life of the hydraulic oil. Precipitates block the damping holes and slit valve ports, causing the pressure valve to be stuck and unable to operate, and the metal pipeline to stretch and bend, or even rupture.
 
Mechanical wear: Minerals, glass fibers, metal powders, etc. are added to some modified plastics. The existence of these materials will cause the screw, the three small parts and the melt barrel to be uniformly mechanically processed over time in the process of plasticization and injection processing. Nitride and chrome plating can be removed. After wear, the gap between the screw and the melt barrel increases, which reduces the plasticizing effect, increases the leakage of injection molding, reduces the injection molding efficiency, and reduces the processing accuracy.
 
Therefore, in order to reduce wear as much as possible and prolong the service life of plasticizing components, the temperature should be appropriately increased and the screw speed should be reduced during processing. Choose chrome plating or use a bimetallic solution to prevent wear more effectively.
 
Mechanical fatigue and overload operation: The adjustment personnel habitually set low temperature work, and habitually set high speed and high pressure work, which gradually deteriorates the performance of plasticizing components. For example, when processing PC and PA plastics, when the temperature does not meet the requirements, the plastic viscosity is very large. If the sol action is forced at this time, the sol pressure must be increased, and the sol torque must be increased, thus increasing the stress fatigue of the screw.
 
At the same time, because the viscosity of the plastic melt is very high at this time, the injection pressure and injection speed must be increased for injection molding, which increases the impact and load of the three small parts, and accelerates their wear and stress fracture.
 
Regular inspection and maintenance of injection molding machine
Check the quality of the hydraulic oil and find that the oil contains impurities. If the oil is insufficient or contains moisture, it should be dealt with in time. Replenish insufficient hydraulic oil.
Check whether the circuit of each point device is loose.
Check the ventilation filter on the electric control box, remove the dirt, remove and clean if necessary.
Clean the hydraulic oil filter.
Clean each movable surface (such as tie rod, sliding guide surface of injection seat, etc.) once, and then re-apply new lubricating oil.
